After learning this morning that most likely there will be two versions of Redmi's flagship, both equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, now we also discover (to the surprise of a few) that this hardware will allow the device to dominate the AnTuTu rankings. Moreover, Lu Weibing also revealed some interesting information for mobile gamers.
Let's start with the first post on the Chinese social media Weibo (the equivalent of Twitter in China) in which the general manager of Redmi would have written that “A friend just told me the results obtained by our flagship on some benchmark platforms. I was stunned. "
Lu Weibing: Redmi Flagship will be handsome and optimized
Now, Lu Weibing has not communicated any number to us, but many suspect that the Xiaomi vice president is talking about a score of over 400 thousand points on AnTuTu (at least in the laboratory). In reality, however, even a score of 390 thousand points should be enough for Weibing to win the challenge launched a few weeks ago at the co-founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun.
In addition to the AnTuTu score, which in the end does not represent an example of real use of the device, Lu Weibing also made it known that he had tested the device in some gaming sessions and that the results achieved were excellent.
The manager said that Redmi's flagship is already optimized to run most games at its best. This especially in three areas in which some smartphones disappoint, namely: video game crashes, delays / de-sync and frame reduction (the game is jerky). So theoretically these three problems were solved even before the official presentation.
As for the hardware instead, in addition to the powerful Qualcomm Snadpragon 855 CPU already confirmed, the first Redmi flagship will also be equipped with an AMOLED display and sensor below the screen (or so it is assumed later the post of Weibing the other day), audio jack from 3,5mm, a front camera with a pop-up mechanism that automatically exits when you want to take a selfie and an NFC module for electronic payments and more.
While among the specifications not yet confirmed we have a rear configuration with three cameras, the first with a Sony IMX586 sensor and the other two with telephoto lenses / ultra wide-angle, a front camera from 20MP and a large 4000mAh battery or more.
Finally, even if theoretically there are only a few days to go before the presentation, the name has not yet been formalized but many think it can be called Redmi K20 Pro or Redmi Pro 2.
