The next Redmi flagship appears online, here are the specifications

As we learned a few days ago in this post, the 3 January of the 2019 Redmi has become an independent brand. This means that the new brand can, at least in theory, work on new projects without the approval of Xiaomi, taking a few more risks and creating even more appealing devices, both in the entry-level range and not.

Now you ask, but Redmi has not always released ultra-cheap terminals with a good compromise between specifications and price? Yes, until today it has been so and we will probably see many others. The novelty is that in the future, we could see a new range of "top of the range" smartphones with more performing hardware and other features that until today we had only on the Mi series, such as the USB Type-C port.

The next Redmi flagship appears online, here are the specifications

Redmi Flagship

Flagship Redmi on TENAA

This new range of terminals will be presented on January 10 in Beijing with a device of which we still do not know the name, different is instead the discourse for specifications, which now seem confirmed after the last appearance on the Chinese certification site TENAA.

With the code name M1901F7C, we find in fact a new smartphone with really interesting hardware that goes from the display with a diagonal of 6,3 inches to the 3900mAh battery, in line with other Redmi devices of the Note series with 4000mAh. While the overall dimensions are 159.21 × 75.21 × 8.1 mm.

Xiaomi Flagship 48MP

We then have a series of unconfirmed specifications but which we will almost certainly find on the new Xiaomi flagship. We are talking about an excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor that would provide a performance never seen before in the Redmi series and with an 11nm manufacturing process, therefore very efficient. We will have a 48MP main camera to take ultra-high resolution photos and 12MP photos with poco noise in case of low light, thanks to the algorithm that combines 4 pixels in 1.

Finally, as we said before, one of the strong points of the new top of the Redmi range will be the new USB Type-C port until now reserved for the Mi series, which will however not make the very useful 3.5mm headphone port disappear.

all beautiful, but for me it always is poco a phone that does not have NFC can be activated when any mobile phone, even mid-range, has it ... maybe the Chinese don't use NFC but here in Europe, including IT, yes and a lot ... you can also pay us the tickets to manage now , and you travel there with the NFC, being able to buy digital titles from the main urban transport managers in big cities ... Yet Xiaomi does not hear us from this ear and continuously proposes devices equipped with increasingly performing cameras following the fashion of the moment ...
