This beginning 2019 seems to be all focused on the new Xiaomi corporate rib, ie Redmi, in the past known as a series of smartphones and now instead a brand in its own right. The Redmi Note 7 was the first flagship of the company and like it or not, it is definitely finished on the lips of all, successful Youtubers and even the most losers. But how we spoke to you in some articles, the new Chinese brand seems to be ready to launch a smartphone equipped with Android Go operating system and which responds precisely to the name of Redmi GO.
Redmi GO will debut in February for only 80 euro. There is MWC2019 air
The past rumors have us shown some renderings and also illuminated on the technical sheet, but Redmi GO seems to have also captured the interest of Roland Quandt, known as a very reliable leaker. Roland reveals us, even if it was quite intuitive, that Redmi GO will not be limited to Asian countries but will officially debut in Europe, in the month of February. And if you follow the Italian community, you know that the new #MiExplorers program has been launched, which will bring 20 Mi Fans (including Italian 3) to the MWC2019 of Barcelona.
Among the promises of the community there was also that of release an unpublished product: coincidentally, the period coincides with the likely launch of Redmi GO. If we also think that the last #MiExplorers program featured the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite devices, equipped with the Android One OS, then everything is back. But coming back to Redmi GO, this of course will include the support for 20 bandwidth and the super-low price will be the absolute protagonist: the new smartphone will be sold to 80 euro.
What leaves slightly perplexed is the company's real intention, which still does not seem to find its own dimension. In fact Redmi GO will be a real entry level, while Redmi Note 7 is a mid-range and the company target should stop here, while it is news of a few hours of the fact that the 15 February we could also expect the launch of Redmi X but above all that Lei Jun has indirectly confirmed that will arrive a top of the range branded Redmi, equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU. In short, in my opinion, Redmi should focus on a market and not range from low to high, otherwise it was worth staying Xiaomi. And what do you think?
