After surprising us with a "simple" mid-range, (the Redmi Note 7) the company led by Lu Weibing showed the claws with a true top of the range, aka Redmi K20 Pro arrived in Italy with the Xiaomi brand that has it proposed under the name of Mi 9T Pro. The result has been astounding, obtaining sales of over 5 million units (relative to the Chinese model only), but which cannot stop the technological progress so much that the company has made the decision to officially end the production of the smartphone. Decision confirmed and made public by the Redmi company through a post on the Weibo social profile.

In the post just mentioned, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing also wanted to emphasize that the success achieved in 2019 is due to three fundamental pillars and that are:

Follow users' needs and listen to their opinions;
Making products with passion, daring in the final result;
Adhere to high standards and strict quality requirements.

The end of the production of this top of the range could however bring benefits to the end user. In fact, no doubt we will see the price of the Redmi K30 Pro drop, while in China users who purchase the product will receive an official cover with the Redmi mascot logo. Of course, this also leaves us to understand that Redmi K20 Pro is making room for the future Redmi K30 Pro that fans of the brand are looking forward to.

The appointment is set for March, the month in which the Xiaomi Mi 10 should also debut in a global version, delayed due to the epidemic caused by the Coronavirus. March will be a very interesting month for fans of the Chinese brand, who may find themselves in a strong indecision as to which flagship to buy, in consideration of excellent hardware and terrific performance.
