A few minutes ago we reported the presentation date finally made official by Redmi poco first, now let's go instead to discover another equally interesting detail regarding the features of the device.
As you may have already understood from the title, we are talking about the possibility of being able to shoot super slow motion videos on the first flagship of the Redmi brand.
Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will be able to shoot slow motion video at 960fps
To share the video you can see above was Lu Weibing, Redmi's general manager and Xiaomi Group vice president. The video depicts a girl who creates soap bubbles with the familiar pastime for children, the video begins in real speed and then slows down considerably afterwards.
The ability to shoot video on 960fps is not something new for Xiaomi, this feature is indeed present on all the latest flagship brands ranging from the older Xiaomi Mi 8 to the latest Xiaomi Mi 9, passing through Mi MIX 2S and Mi MIX 3. That said, no Redmi series device has ever been able to shoot slow-motion (or fast, according to the point of view) slow motion video.
Redmi K20 and older brother Redmi K20 Pro will therefore be the first Redmi smartphones with this feature appreciated by many users.
The sensor that will take care of shooting slow motion videos will be the beloved Sony IMX586 sensor with a resolution from 48MP confirmed a few hours ago. All other cameras on board the Redmi K20 are still unknown, but many suspect the presence of a secondary 8MP sensor coupled with a telephoto lens and a third one by 13MP with ultra wide-angle lens. Finally, in front of us we should find an 32MP sensor placed on the pop-up mechanism that automatically pops out the camera when you want to take a selfie.
As for the other specifications instead, those currently confirmed include the best mobile processor currently in circulation, namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, an audio jack from 3.5mm to be able to connect your favorite headphones without needing an adapter and finally an NFC module to make electronic payments and more.
Moving on to the previously leaked but unofficial features we have the AMOLED-type 6.39-inch screen with Full HD + resolution, a fingerprint sensor below the screen, a configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory in the more premium version and, for conclude, a battery of at least 4000mAh.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro should be available in three colors: Blue, Red and Carbon Black, while the final price is still unknown.
I would like the pro to have a bigger screen and battery, that would be good for me (since the max4 latita, besides the fact that it could only mount one s675, and I think I have fewer updates over time)
