The rumors regarding the upcoming Redmi flagship killer never seem to end. The Redmi K30 is indeed the protagonist of a new leak that this time confirms one of the most interesting features that we will find on board the device, we are clearly talking about the display with a frequency of 120Hz.
Redmi K30: 120Hz screen confirmed by new leak
As we can see in the image above, which in reality should be a screenshot shot right on the Redmi K30, the smartphone would have been tested on the "UFO Test" site precisely to check the screen refresh rate. Obviously, since the device does not have an interface with the website, the frequency of the display is not confirmed as we see in the "Refresh Rate - Hz" item, but we can still see that even with a reproduction of the test with UFOs at 120 fps , the image is sharp and without any "wake".
This would be proof that the screen supports an 120Hz frequency, which is one of the highest refresh rates seen to date.
What are the advantages of a higher refresh rate? Well as many of you already know, a refresh rate of 120Hz will bring a much more fluid user experience, both within the UI and within video games that support this frequency.
Most smartphones currently on the market have a refresh rate of 60Hz, with the most recent ones coming up to 90Hz instead. There are also some exceptions like the Asus ROG Phone 2 which instead adopts an 120Hz screen.
As for the other specifications, thanks to a Chinese leaker we were able to "discover" that the smartphone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G as a processor, a minimum of 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
In the photographic sector we will find a main sensor from 64MP, almost certainly the Sony IMX 686, together with a sensor from 8MP with telephoto lens, one from 13MP with ultra wide angle lens and finally a camera from 2MP to take macros or acquire data on the depth. Up front we could instead find two cameras from 20MP and 2MP inside a portion of the screen (double camera inside the screen already officially confirmed).
Other features on the K30 include a well 4500mAh battery with support for fast charging at least 27W, NFC module to make electronic payments and more, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass, infrared emitter, 3.5mm audio jack and a minimum of 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Finally, the smartphone will be available in a dual mode 5G version NSA / SA for greater signal coverage.
