As we have learned in this article, the presentation of Redmi K30 has already been scheduled for December 10 day. But although the conference is now just around the corner, some of the main features seem to change almost daily. Well, today maybe we put an end to this rig or, so it is hoped. Let's go then to find out what we will find on board the Redmi K30 (4G) according to a famous Chinese leaker.
Redmi K30 4G: Chinese Leaker reveals specifications and price
As we can see in the Chinese social post Weibo, the Redmi K30 in its 4G version and with the model name "M1912G7BE / C" should arrive with an immense display of 6.66 inches diagonal and LCD type. Furthermore the display adopts a FullHD + resolution and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. But the most interesting fact is that it will work at a maximum frequency of 120Hz, for a much smoother user experience than the usual 60Hz. So if from a point of view it could be considered a downgrade compared to the AMOLED display of Redmi K20, we still have a quality screen with a very fashionable feature in this period.
The presence of an LCD screen goes hand in hand with confirmation of the fingerprint sensor located on the right side under the volume buttons. In fact, LCD technology does not support fingerprint sensors below the screen, as AMOLED does. Here too, depending on your tastes, some may prefer this type of sensor.
Let's move on to the heart of the device, that is the processor. The leaker has indeed confirmed that it is the Snapdragon 730G, a medium-high-end processor and the same that we find on board the latest Xiaomi Mi Note 10. We will therefore have a user experience without slowing down even if not as fast as that obtainable with top-of-the-range processors like Snapdragon 855 or 855 Plus.
As for the photographic sector instead, Redmi limited itself to "only" four sensors. We will find a sensor from 64MP, most probably the last Sony IMX 686, accompanied by a sensor from 8MP with telephoto lens, one from 13MP with ultra wide angle lens and finally a sensor from 2MP probably for taking macros or acquiring data on the depth. While in front we could have two cameras from 20MP and 2MP inside a portion of the screen.
The Redmi K30 4G would then be powered by a well 4500mAh battery and should support fast charging to 27W.
Other features on the K30 include an NFC module, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass, infrared emitter, 3.5mm audio jack and a minimum of 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Finally, the smartphone should arrive with MIUI 11 and a starting price of 1999 Yuan, on the 260 € at the current exchange rate.
