While we enjoy the new POCO F2 For several weeks now, its Chinese alter ego, the Redmi K30 Pro seems to be becoming increasingly popular in the Asian country. The proof of this is the fact that the brand continues to release variants of the device with new colors, such as the Aqua Skylight that we saw a couple of days ago. Today we go instead to discover the Redmi K30 Pro in Galaxy Silver version.
Redmi K30 Pro in Galaxy Silver version released in China
As suggested by the English name and the images, the K30 Pro in Galaxy Silver comes with a silver colored back cover. That said, we do not see anything that looks like a galaxy, but the color seems fairly homogeneous, without particular shapes or reflections. In any case, it is a different color than the Liquid Silver (in our opinion nicer) in which the cheapest was recently launched Redmi 10X Pro.
With the Galaxy Silver variant, the Redmi K30 Pro is now available in a total of 6 colors: Aqua Skylight, Space gray, Sky Blue, Star ring purple, Moon white and Galaxy Silver in fact.
Let's quickly remember that the Redmi K30 Pro is the latest flagship of the Xiaomi sub-brand. The smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as a processor, accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 type internal memory. Two technologies that improve performance and at the same time reduce consumption.
The device adopts a quality 6.67-inch diagonal AMOLED display produced by Samsung with a brightness of 800 nits and a peak of 1200 nits, a high contrast at 5000000: 1, support for HDR10 + content and TÜV Rheinland certification to lighten the load on the eyes.
Finally, from the point of view of photography, on the K30 Pro we find 64MP main camera, Sony IMX686 sensor with OIS (optical stabilization), focal aperture of f / 1.79 and 1.6um pixels; then we have a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, a depth of field sensor and finally a 13MP ultra wide angle camera with a 123 degree field of view. For selfies, there is a 20MP front camera hidden inside a pop-up mechanism.
