Having caught him about two weeks ago on GeekBench, the Redmi K30 Pro returns to be talked about today. The next flagship killer of the Xiaomi sub brand was in fact mentioned by a famous leakster on the Chinese social network Weibo.
Redmi K30 Pro: Leakster confirms 686MP Sony IMX64 camera
Digital Chat Station, this is his nickname, would have confirmed some of the specifications on board the smartphone. Specifically, he said that “The pre-production model of Redmi k30 Pro adopts a Sony IMX686 rear image sensor. There are a total of four cameras, but they are positioned differently than the base K30 ”.
So according to the Chinese leakster, the K30 Pro will come with the same 64MP main camera as its younger brother. We will then have the same circular design called "ad Oreo", but the cameras will be arranged differently.
This means that the Redmi K30 Pro will technically be a step behind the Xiaomi Mi 10 series, at least from the point of view of the maximum resolution obtainable. The top of the range of Xiaomi should in fact adopt 108MP sensors, or the Samsung ISOCELL HMX.
As for the other specifications instead, the K30 Pro will have nothing to envy. We expect to find the brand new and performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, as also leaked from the benchmark on GeekBench. Always the same leaker then suggests that the screen will be AMOLED and not LCD like on K30 and that we will also have a fingerprint sensor on the screen. This indiscretion, however, makes us doubt the presence of a high refresh rate, which could drop from 120Hz of the basic version to 90Hz, if not even 60Hz.
Finally, on the super cheap flagship we will most likely find a battery of at least 4500mAh, fast charging at 30W, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory, NFC and much more.
