With the 5G version of the Redmi K30 for sale for a few days now, according to Chinese media, the time of the successor has already come; we are clearly talking about the Redmi K30 Pro.
Redmi K30 Pro could arrive in March with Snapdragon 865 and 120Hz screen
In fact, new rumors come from China that suggest the possible launch of the next Redmi flagship killer for the month of March.
As for the specifications, at the moment we don't have much info, but different speculations give the K30 Pro coming again with a pop-up mechanism, like the previous Redmi K20 series. Furthermore, even as on the K20 and K20 Pro, the screen would be OLED, so in many ways better than the LCD that we find on the K30.
In any case, the president of Xiaomi China and general manager of the Redmi brand, Lu Weibing, had predicted that 2020 will be the year of the screens with holes for the front camera. So there is a high probability that the K30 Pro will follow in the footsteps of the K30 by adopting a dual front camera in a pill-shaped hole (although as we have seen , promising are actually two independent holes joined by software).
The screen would then have a Full HD + resolution and refresh rate of 120Hz, or the same as the K30, for a smoother user experience especially in video games. Video games that on the Redmi K30 Pro should run at maximum thanks to a more powerful CPU than the basic version. In particular, we are talking about the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, therefore the top of the top, or alternatively the MediaTek Dimensity 1000, another SoC of the Chinese chip maker.
Obviously there will also be 5G NSA / SA dual mode connectivity. A more advanced technology than the NSA-only technology adopted by the first 5G smartphones on the market. Now we just have to wait a few months to find out more, in the meantime we will see the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10 flagship series in February.
