With the Redmi K30 5G and the Xiaomi Mi 10 series already on the market, at least in China, the next device to keep an eye on will be the Redmi K30 Pro.
Redmi K30 Pro: The GM suggests the presence of a pop-up mechanism
The smartphone will not only be the enhanced version of the Redmi K30 5G released in December, but a completely different device in almost every aspect. As proof of what has been said, new rumors arrive from the Asian country.
The general manager of Redmi and vice president of Xiaomi Group, Lu Weibing, would in fact have shared on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) a survey started by a famous Chinese blogger, such "Mobile Uncle".
The poll asked their fans what the best solution was for the Redmi K30 Pro front photographic sector: camera in a hole on the screen or camera with pop-up mechanism. At the moment, the most popular option seems to be "pop-up camera".
Obviously, if it weren't for Lu Weibing's re-sharing, this survey wouldn't interest us much. But the fact that Weibing himself shared a post in which the choice "camera with pop-up mechanism" seems to have a great advantage, cannot fail to suggest that the next flagship of the Xiaomi sub-brand will be equipped with this technology.
As for the rest of the specs, as we said poco first, the smartphone will adopt the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, most likely supported by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 internal memory. The other features are rather unknown, in fact we do not know how large the display will be (the Redmi K30 5G had a 6.67-inch panel) or what type of technology will be used, whether LCD like the predecessor or AMOLED for a self-respecting flagship. Finally, we still have to find out how many and which cameras will be used, as well as battery size, charging power and much more.
