The new Redmi K30 Pro presented in China a couple of days ago is definitely one of the best value for money devices on the market; therefore a good number of sales was expected from the start. Well, as you may have already guessed from the title, the smartphone has done better than expected, breaking every record regarding the Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi.
Redmi K30 Pro: Record sales in China, revenues of over 100 million Yuan
According to official data, the K30 Pro has in fact allowed the brand to reach a total income of over 100.000.000 Yuan, or about 12,6 million euros at the current exchange rate. But even more impressive is that this figure was reached in just 30 seconds.
If we go to make a quick calculation, putting 3300 Yuan for each device as the average price, we arrive at a number of units sold of over 30 thousand. The average price was obtained taking into account the prices for the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory (2999 Yuan), the one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (3399 Yuan) and the last one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB. storage for sale at 3699 Yuan.
In any case, we are talking about an exceptional number of sales for Redmi, surpassed only by the one obtained about a month ago by Xiaomi with the Mi 10 Pro which sold for 200 million Yuan in just 55 seconds.
As we said previously, however, this news does not surprise us since at least on paper the Redmi K30 Pro offers top-of-the-range hardware at the lowest price on the market. We refer in particular to the modern and performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, assisted by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory. Two technologies that improve performance and at the same time reduce consumption.
The smartphone also adopts quality AMOLED displays from 6.67 inches diagonal produced by Samsung with brightness of 800 nit and a peak of 1200 nit, a high contrast at 5000000: 1, support for HDR10 + content and TÜV Rheinland certification to lighten the load on the eyes.
As for the photographic sector, on the K30 Pro we find 64MP main camera, Sony IMX686 sensor with OIS (optical stabilization), focal aperture of f / 1.79 and 1.6um pixels; then we have a telephoto camera with a 30x zoom, a depth of field sensor and finally a 13MP ultra wide angle camera with a 123 degree field of view. For selfies, we find instead a 20MP front camera hidden inside a pop-up mechanism.
