A handful of days have passed since the arrival on the market of the new top of the range Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition, triggering many controversies as to whether they adopted a panel with 60 Hz refresh rate, when instead the competition goes well in addition, often finding a compromise of at least 90 Hz. The CEO of the company has tried to give his justifications on the choice made, but on balance it does not change that on Redmi K30 Pro we could only enjoy an update frequency of 60 Hz.

Redmi K30 Pro pushes itself to a refresh rate up to 80 Hz, but beware of the 5G "pacifier" battery from fear
The tech people, however, are not satisfied and so the first changes have begun to circulate, which aim to improve this lack, reaching a higher refresh rate, that is up to 80 Hz. Of course the modders of the case had to opt for risky operations for your device, as an overclock that is at the processor or any other hardware level, always involves a risk as it is not designed for that specific modified power.

In fact, the operation in question, in addition to requesting root permissions, invalidates the guarantee, given that a risky maneuver has been carried out which could cause problems for the Redmi K30 Pro screen, although at the moment, those who are benefiting from it do not report any particular problems.
Apart from this, to make you desist from the possible modding for the exclusive benefit of a higher refresh rate, we add the fact that the 5G technology enjoyed by Redmi K30 Pro, consumes about 20% more than a traditional 4G, thus confirming in part, Redmi's choice to equip its flagship with a larger battery by sacrificing the screen's refresh rate. The engineering team had to calculate to the millimeter the space needed for the motherboard, for the ID sensor components in the display and for the increased battery, also taking into account the selfie camera pop-up.
In my opinion, the Redmi K30 Pro should not be underestimated only because of a crippled feature, relative to the refresh rate limited to 60 Hz, remembering that up to now 99% of smartphones in circulation have offered this feature, yet we have never complained.
