Just yesterday we saw a new major update for the Xiaomi mi 10 ultra which carries the same camera firmware that the brand has optimized in collaboration with the photographic benchmarking platform DxOMark. Well, today the same happens with the top flagship of the Xiaomi sub-brand, or the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition, which had positively surprised us with a total score of 120 points which put it among the top 10 in the general classification. just 1 point behind the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition will be updated to the firmware used by DxOMark
The new update arrives with the build V12.0.9.0.QJKCNXM and, as previously mentioned, aims to update the photographic firmware of the K30 Pro Zoom Edition on the market with the same one used by DxOMark. In addition to this, the update also brings a feature to take photos with front and rear camera at the same time, AI watermarks and voice activated functions.
We will also find a film mode and green orange, ice black, black gold, green orange and cyberpunk filters to add in video mode.
Recall that the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition had been reviewed by DxOMark in the month of July, obtaining 120 points divided into 129 as regards the photographs and 101 as a score for the videos. So a device that takes great photos, while the videos remain average.
In particular, the smartphone showed accurate exposure outdoors, fast and accurate autofocus, and well-preserved details. Furthermore, DxOMark found good details in the shots with zoom outdoors, excellent bokeh effect and a neutral white balance.
While for video, we saw good detail in most conditions, accurate exposure, even in low light conditions, good color rendering and effective stabilization. On the negative side, however, we saw a limited dynamic range in some conditions, slight instabilities of the focus and artifacts are visible.
