August is the month in which we will see the launch of the new Redmi K30 Ultra, a smartphone that should give a hard time to different mid-range alternatives on the market, if not even to some top-of-the-range smartphones.
Redmi K30 Ultra: New leak confirms the main specifications
Well, today a leak seems to confirm most of the specifications that we will find on board the K30 Ultra, starting with the most important component, namely the CPU. According to the leak, the smartphone would arrive with the new MediaTek Dimensity 1000+, a processor that is based on a 7nm production process and uses the ARM Cortex A77 architecture with eight cores and a maximum frequency of 2,6 GHz. This hardware combination allows it to reach over 530.000 points on AnTuTu, therefore in line with Qualcomm's high-end SoC for the year 2019, the Snapdragon 855. The CPU should then be accompanied by 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of internal memory.
As for the rest of the hardware, this should be very similar, if not identical to that of the Redmi K30 Pro, known by us as POCO F2 Pro. We will therefore find a 6.67-inch diagonal AMOLED panel (with refresh rate increased to 120Hz) without notches or holes, in their place there is a pop up mechanism that hides the front camera when not needed. Front camera which should have a resolution of 20MP.
On the back we will instead have four sensors with the main one from 64MP, (Sony IMX686 sensor?), While of the others we do not know the specifications but could include a 5MP sensor with 2x zoom, a 2MP depth of field sensor and a camera from 13MP ultra wide angle with 123 degree field of view.
The smartphone should then adopt a battery with a capacity of 4500mAh and for rapid charging we arrive at a maximum power of 33W which allows you to recharge the device from 0 to 100% in just 60 minutes.
Finally, the Redmi K30 Ultra should run on MIUI 12 based on Android 10, have 5G connectivity and a fingerprint sensor on the screen.
