Redmi K30S: Leakster unveils the specifications of the Chinese Mi 10T

Redmi's K30 series is one of the longest-lived of the Xiaomi sub-brand. The Redmi K30 5G and K30 4G date back to December last year, followed by the Redmi K30 Pro and ending with the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition, also known as K30 Ultra. Well, apparently the K30 family would not be complete yet, with another device ready to debut in China. The new device should arrive under the name of Redmi K30S.

Redmi K30S leak specs

To confirm this we have the famous blogger Digital Chat Station who on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter), revealed that the K30S will be the last device of the Redmi K30 series, adding that he too did not expect that this series would last so long, that is almost a year.

As for the specifications, these will be identical to those of the family Xiaomi Mi 10T released in global version a couple of weeks ago. In particular we refer to the Mi 10T which adopts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as processor, combined with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory, therefore the best hardware available on the market.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro specific leaks

The Mi 10T series stands out for its 6,67-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz which can then be adapted to a refresh rate of 30Hz / 48Hz / 50Hz / 60Hz / 90Hz / 120Hz / 144Hz, but unfortunately it is an AMOLED panel.

Being a rebrand of the Mi 10T and not Mi 10T Pro, the Redmi K30S could adopt a 64MP rear main camera instead of the 108MP one with f / 1.69 aperture available on the Pro version.

This is very interesting given that a 108MP camera would instead be equipped on the next one Redmi Note 10 (version for China), which could in turn be a rebrand of the Mi 10T Lite (with different camera).

What a real mess are these Chinese, three brands that produce the same phones with 12 different names.
