After seeing the first official photo of the rear with the camera compartment on the Redmi K40, the brand has "involuntarily" just shown us the front one with an official video.
Redmi K40: New promotional video shows us the front design of the next flagship killer
The video, created to show us how the data transfer from an old smartphone to a new one works, allows us to take a look at the front design of the next flagship killer of the Chinese brand.
In particular, we see a hole in the top center for the front camera. It is therefore the first Redmi flagship with this design, its predecessors, the Redmi K20 Pro and the Redmi K30 Pro instead adopted a pop-up camera system.
We also note that the camera hole is very small, but this does not surprise us since we had already talked about it a few weeks ago thanks to a leak.
If we have to look for something negative, the bottom edge is probably thicker than we would like, but after all we are dealing with a smartphone that focuses heavily on the spec / price ratio rather than on the premium design.
As for the other specifications, according to data provided by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (TENAA), the measurements of the Redmi K40 series are 163,7mm × 76,4mm × 7,8mm, and the capacity of the battery reaches a capacity of 4500mAh.
This means that the Redmi K40 series adopts a large capacity battery inside a 7,8 mm thick body, ergo an excellent autonomy / thickness ratio.
Furthermore, on the Redmi K40 we will find a 6,67-inch display, with the resolution that should be FHD +, a refresh rate of 120Hz and always of the AMOLED type.
Finally, the smartphone will equip the Qualcomm flagship processor, the Snapdragon 888, assisted by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory. Obviously there will be support for fast charging from at least 33W.
