Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro and new Xiaomi smartphone certified on 3C

As we already know, Xiaomi's sub brand, Redmi, is very close to the launch of the next Redmi K40 series, but apparently this will not be the only one to see the sunlight in the weeks to follow.

Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro and new Xiaomi smartphone certified on 3C

In fact, three different smartphones have just been caught in China on the website of the 3C certification body. These three devices are supposed to be the Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro and a Xiaomi smartphone with Snapdragon 870.

In any case, the certification body has revealed to us which fast charging technology we will find on all the terminals mentioned above. First we have the Xiaomi smartphone with Snapdragon 870 with the model number M2102J2SC and according to the 3C certificate, this supports a maximum power of 33W.

Then there are the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro certified with the model numbers M2012K11AC and M2012K11C respectively and they also support a maximum charging power of 33W. We know that in model numbers they correspond to the two Redmi smartphones thanks to the Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station who had previously revealed it to us. Also confirmed the presence of 5G connectivity.

In addition to fast charging at 33W, Redmi's next flagship killer should equip some very interesting hardware. We refer in particular to the most performing mobile chip on the market, the Snapdragon 888, which will power the Redmi K40 Pro. While the standard version should adopt MediaTek's high-end SoC, the Dimensity 1200; even if in the last few days the rumor has spread that it could equip a Snapdragon 870.

For the rest, according to the Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station, at least the Pro version will integrate an image sensor with a size of 1 / 1.5 inches, very similar to that of several top of the range of recent years, even if less large. compared to the sensor on the Xiaomi Mi 11, which adopts one from 1 / 1.33 inches.
