Redmi month of June with the new Redmi 9 already on the market and the Redmi 9A around the corner. But these may not be the only two devices that we will see released by the brand this month.
Camera with hole or pup-up? Get me back to work on both
In fact, according to the Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station, Redmi would be ready to launch two new two medium-high end models; with one that will adopt a hole on the screen and the second a full screen design, then pop-up camera.
Let's start with the first one that has already been caught with model name M2006J10C on the Chinese 3C certification site. As we saw the other day, this device supports 33 W (11 V / 3 A) fast charging and is equipped with the same charger that we find with the Redmi K30 Pro.
In addition, judging by the specifications of the charger, this smartphone should belong to the high-end of Redmi. Former Redmi product director Wang Teng previously said the brand would use a MediaTek MediaTek 1000+ as a CPU. So this new terminal called "2006J10C" could be the one equipped with the best chip produced by the Chinese chip maker MediaTek.
Digital Chat Station also adds that the Redmi phone with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ will adopt a single hole LCD screen for the front camera. The fingerprint sensor will be positioned laterally, while the update rate could be as much as 144Hz.
As you may have guessed, this device looks very similar to the Redmi K30 released in December last year. The smartphone in fact adopted a perforated screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a side fingerprint sensor. We can therefore conclude that the terminal in question will be called Redmi K40, unless the brand decides to change the naming scheme.
As for the pop-up camera smartphone, this could be the successor of the Redmi K30 Pro or much more likely, given the proximity, an updated version of the device. What is called Redmi K30 Pro +? Keep following us to find out together!
