Today, the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station broke the news that the upcoming Redmi K50 Standard Edition will be equipped with a flagship processor with an AnTuTu score between 700000 and 800000.

Currently, processors with a score between 700000 and 800000 include the MediaTek Dimensity 7000 and the Snapdragon 870. The former has a score of around 750000 and the latter has a rating of around 700000. Both chipsets can be considered flagship products. .
That said, previous leaks suggested that Redmi was already testing the Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000 chips. It is therefore not excluded that the standard version of the Redmi K50 is equipped with the Dimensity 7000 chip. While the Pro version should be equipped with the flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
Also Digital Chat Station previously revealed that the MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor is based on TSMC's 5nm manufacturing process and is comprised of 4 Cortex A78 cores and 4 Cortex A55 little cores. The CPU frequency is up to 2,75 GHz and the GPU is a Mali-G510 MC6.
As for the other specs, the Redmi K50 is expected to use a high-quality flexible OLED screen with a resolution of 1080P and a refresh rate of 120Hz. There will be upgrades to the display, fast charging technology and some other specs over the previous generation, but these are not clear at the moment. While for the price, the Redmi 50 Standard Edition could have a starting price around 2000 yuan, around 280 euros at current exchange rates.
