Redmi K50i leaks a few days after launch: specifications and design

As we have seen a few days, the official account of Redmi India announced that it will release the next Redmi K50i on July 20.

Redmi K50i leaks a few days after launch: specifications and design

Today, a few days after the presentation, the Mysmartprice site leaked real photos of the Redmi K50i.

What we discover from the leak is that instead of the Samsung AMOLED screen with 2K resolution used in the Chinese Redmi K50, the screen of the K50i appears to be an LCD with a resolution of Full HD +, the screen size is 6,6 inches and there is a hole one high in the center for the front camera.

According to the leak, therefore, the Redmi K50i would be the only model of the K50 series family that uses an LCD type screen. In fact, the previously released Redmi K50, K50 Pro and K50 Gaming Edition all come with an OLED screen.

As for other specifications, such as the Redmi K50, the Redmi K50i will also be equipped with the flagship processor MediaTek Dimensity 8100. It is a "sub-flagship" chip, which is very close to the performance of the best chips on the market and has been marketed from MediaTek this year. Specifically, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip consists of four Cortex-A78 cores with a main frequency of 2,85 GHz and four Cortex-A55 with a main frequency of 2,0 GHz.

In addition, as regards the photographic sector, the Redmi K50i will be equipped with three AI cameras on the back, including a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide camera and one for taking 2MP macro photos.

For memory cuts, the smartphone should be available in two options: with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

We just have to find out the complete specifications July 20 and if it will be launched in the rest of the world or will be an Indian exclusive.
