In the first half of this year, Redmi launched three models of the K50 series in China, namely the K50, K50 Pro and the K50 Gaming Edition. Well, now it seems that some new members of the K50 series are ready to be revealed in the rest of the world as well.

Redmi K50i confirmed: will it be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11T Pro?

Today, in fact, the official account of Redmi India announced that it will release a new product of the K50 series on July 20 with the name of Redmi K50i.

According to previous reports, one of the biggest differences between the K50i and the K50 is that the former uses a flat LCD screen with a resolution of Full HD +, a screen size of 6,6 inches and a central hole for the front camera, while the second uses an AMOLED type screen produced by Samsung and with 2K resolution.

Like the K50, the Redmi K50i will also be equipped with the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, a mid-to-high-end chip marketed by MediaTek this year. Specifically, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip is made up of four Cortex-A78 cores with a main frequency of 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a main frequency of 2.0GHz. As for RAM and storage instead, the Redmi K50i will be available in two options, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.

Furthermore, we know that the Redmi K50i is expected to be equipped with an AI-supported 64MP resolution main camera, along with an 8MP ultra wide lens camera and a 2MP macro lens sensor.

In general, the Redmi K50i reminds us a lot of the Redmi Note 11T Pro launched in China on May 24, we find the same CPU, the same cameras and the same display. So it is likely that the Redmi K50i is a global rebrand of the Chinese Note 11T Pro.
