As scheduled, this afternoon Redmi held a conference in India for the launch of a new member of the K50 series, the Redmi K50i, almost a rebrand of the POCO X4 GT launched in Italy on 23 June.

The Redmi K50i arrives with a 6.6 "display with a Full HD + resolution, a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 270Hz, a range of colors DCI-P3 and True Display technologies, TrueColor Display with which the temperature changes according to the ambient lighting conditions.

Redmi's K50i doesn't even joke about performance, the smartphone integrates the excellent MediaTek Dimensity 8100, a chip with TSMC's 5nm production process with high performance and low power consumption, composed of 4 Cortex-A78 cores with 2.85GHz main frequency and 4 Cortex-A55 with 2.0GHz main frequency. The chipset is always accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory, so really not bad for its price range.

As for the photographic sector, the smartphone equips a 64MP main camera with focal aperture f / 1.89, together with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (focal aperture f / 2.2) and a 2MP macro (focal aperture f / 2.4). . For selfies there is a 16MP front camera in a hole in the top center.

From the point of view of charging and autonomy instead, the Redmi comes with a large 5080mAh battery and supports a fast 67W charge (46 minutes for a full charge) We also find the Middle Middle Tab (MMT) technology that allows you to play for over 90 minutes after charging the device for just 10 minutes.

Finally, for prices, the Redmi K50i in the 6GB + 128GB version will be sold in India at the price of 25999 Indian rupees (320 euros), while the 8GB + 128GB version has a price of 28999 Indian rupees (355 euros).
