Redmi, the budget smartphone brand from Xiaomi, plans to launch the new K70 series by the end of this year. The series Redmi K70 it will be the successor of the K60 series, which was launched in December last year and has achieved good sales and reviews (in China).
Redmi K70 specifications leaked: Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chip and thinner edges than ever

According to the latest from China, the K70 series will stand out for its 2K flat screen, which will offer high image quality and immersive viewing. Furthermore, the K70 series will eliminate the plastic brackets surrounding the screen, making the design more elegant and refined. Plastic brackets are often used in low and medium-end mobile phones to reduce costs, but also have disadvantages, such as increased thickness, reduced screen-to-body ratio, and easy to break.
The K70 series will therefore have a more premium and subtle look, with an extremely narrow bezel that will increase the screen-to-body ratio. This aesthetic improvement will make the K70 series more competitive against other high-end mobile phones on the market.
The K70 series will not only be beautiful to look at, but also powerful. The K70 series will in fact be equipped with the next chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3, which will be Qualcomm's flagship processor in 2024. The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor will be built on TSMC's N4P process, which will deliver energy efficiency and better performance than the previous N5 process.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor will also have an innovative architecture, based on the 1 + 5 + 2 design. This means that it will have one super-large Cortex-X4 core, five large Cortex-A710 cores and two small Cortex-A510 cores. The Cortex-X4 core will be the first core based on the Arm v9.2 architecture, which will support 64-bit applications only and offer a 15% increase in performance and a 40% reduction in power consumption compared to the Cortex-X3 core .
The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor will also have a maximum frequency of 3,2GHz and a record AnTuTu score. The Redmi K70 series will therefore be Redmi's flagship in late 2023, early 2024, combining attractive design with outstanding power.
