Xiaomi has officially presented a racing smartphone... and it goes really fast!

Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new Ultra smartphone on July 19, and ahead of the debut, the company revealed the existence of a limited edition variant, called Redmi K70 Ultra Lamborghini Edition. This model is inspired by the design of the previous Champion Edition model, sporting the Y-shaped logo of the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 supercar alongside the emblem of the SQUADRA CORSE racing team.

Official Redmi K70 Ultra Lamborghini: specifications and details

As expected, the focus of the Champion Edition is purely aesthetic, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to own a smartphone with a design that recalls the world of racing old performance. Xiaomi has not yet provided details on the technical specifications of this special edition, but the basic hardware is likely to mirror that of the standard variant, with the possibility that the limited model will feature upgraded memory options.

The Redmi K70 Ultra is equipped with the powerful chipset MediaTek Dimension 9300+, supporting a OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The screen also boasts 3840Hz PWM dimming technology, which Xiaomi claims provides cutting-edge eye protection in low-light conditions. While the exact dimensions of the display were not revealed, it is known that it was co-developed in collaboration with TCL.

The photographic sector includes a Sony IMX906 main sensor 50 megapixel, probably accompanied by a ultra-wide sensor from 8 megapixel and a 2 macro sensor megapixel. Interestingly, the K70 Ultra is the first Redmi smartphone to use Xiaomi's in-house developed AISP imaging algorithm, aiming to improve overall camera performance.

Another highlight of the Redmi K70 Ultra is Xiaomi's Pengpai T1 signal booster chip, which promises a 12% increase in WiFi performance, 20% improvement in GPS performance and a notable 58% increase in 5G WiFi signal strength. Apart from that, the phone will be equipped with a chip Arises P2 for fast charging, a Arises G1 for power management and a chip Arises D1 for independent display processing, all SoCs developed internally by Xiaomi.

Furthermore, it is confirmed that the smartphone will be equipped with one battery 5500mAh with support for the quick charge to 120W, guaranteeing very fast energy supplies. It also boasts a IP68 certification for resistance to dust and water, ensuring complete protection in every situation.
