
As we learned in the previous days, Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi K80 series by the end of this month. Well, a new leak leaked today thanks to the leakster ExperienceMore on Weibo revealed the specifications of the models Redmi K80 and K80 Pro.

Il Redmi K80 base model will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a powerful chip despite not being the latest version. The display will be a 2K Huaxing LTPS panel with a flat design, similar to its predecessor.
The rear camera system will include a 50MP Omnivision OV50 main sensor, combined with a 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lensThe front camera will presumably be a 20MP Omnivision OV20B sensor.
In terms of battery life, the K80 will boast a 6500mAh capacity, which, combined with the quick charge from 90W, should guarantee battery life that covers the whole day and beyond.
As for safety, the K80 will be equipped with a ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated under the display. The phone will also have a metal central frame for a premium feel, with Dragon Crystal Glass both on the front and on the back, and a IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.

Turning to K80 Pro model, things get even more interesting. The Pro variant will be equipped with the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The display will remain a 2K Huaxing LTPS panel with flat design.
The Pro's camera system will take a step forward, with a 50MP main sensor (once again, Omnivision OV50) flanked by a 1MP ISOCELL KD32 ultrawide sensor high resolution and a ISCOELL JN5 50MP Telephoto Lens with 2.6x Optical Zoom. The The front camera will remain the same 20MP sensor of the standard K80 model.
As for the battery, a capacity of 6000mAh. However, it will be offset by the inclusion of the 120W wired fast charging and wireless charging from 50W.
The Pro model will also have a ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, central metal frame, construction with Dragon Crystal Glass e IP68 certification, like the base model.
