The sub brand of Xiaomi, Redmi, has officially confirmed that the series Redmi K80 will be launched on November 27 in China. According to the official poster, the brand has collaborated with Chinese table tennis player Fan Zhendong to promote the new K series. The range includes the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro, and this time the company will not release a Redmi K80e as the successor to last year's Redmi K70e.
Redmi K80 and K80 Pro have a launch date
The Redmi K80 series features a completely different design than last year's Redmi K70 range. The K80 series has a round camera module that is reminiscent of the company's Civi series. The camera island comprises three cameras with a horizontal LED flash positioned on the outside. While the front of the K80 series has not yet been revealed, both models are expected to feature a flat display.
Images surfaced on a Chinese retail platform have revealed the color options of the K80 series. The K80 will be available in grey, blue, green and black variants. While the The K80 Pro will be available in grey, green and black colours.. A closer look at the images suggests that the K80 will feature a dual-camera setup, while the Pro variant will feature a triple-camera system. While Redmi hasn’t officially confirmed it yet, there’s a chance that the K80 Pro will also come in a special edition, likely a Lamborghini edition.
The Redmi K80 series will face competition from the iQOO Neo 10 and iQOO Neo 10 Pro in China. iQOO has already confirmed that the Neo 10 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Neo 10 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 SoC. In comparison, the The K80 and K80 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite respectively.
The Redmi K80 will feature a 6,67-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, offering a smooth and detailed visual experience. The Pro version will have the same screen, ensuring high-level performance even for gaming and multimedia content enjoyment.
Additionally, the K80 Pro will offer an advanced triple-sensor camera system. The setup will include a High resolution main camera, probably a Sony sensor, paired with an ultrawide camera and a telephoto lens. This setup will allow you to capture high-quality images in different lighting conditions and situations.
