Xiaomi officially presented the new smartphones Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, setting new standards for the K series with robust features as they are equipped with Xiaomi's largest battery ever and the latest Snapdragon chipset.

Il Redmi K80 features a 2-inch 6,67K display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, offering a peak brightness of 3.200 nits and an overall brightness of 1.800 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright light conditions. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling and up to 2560Hz in some games. The display also includes HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid and Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection 2.0 technology for superior images and eye comfort.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, built on TSMC’s 4nm process. The octa-core processor reaches up to 3.3GHz and uses the Adreno 750 GPU for seamless performance. It also supports Qualcomm’s AI Engine for advanced multitasking and gaming, and includes a dual-loop 3D cooling system for efficient heat management.
The phone runs HyperOS 2, which improves performance, accelerates app launches, and reduces latency. It is available with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The photographic compartment of the Redmi K80 includes a versatile triple rear camera, led by a 800MP Light Fusion 50 main sensor with a wide f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). This is flanked by a 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 120° field of view and a 2MP macro sensor for detailed close-ups. The camera system supports advanced modes like Super Night Mode, Dynamic Photos and 8K video recording. On the front, we find a 20MP selfie camera designed for sharp, vivid portrait shots.
The Redmi K80 comes with a 6.550mAh massive battery, the largest ever made by Xiaomi. It supports the 90W wired fast charging, ensuring extended usage with minimal downtime. It integrates the Surge P3 charging chip and Surge G1 battery management chip for optimized power efficiency and safe charging.
The device is IP68 and IP69 certified for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability. It also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that works perfectly even with wet hands, infrared remote control, NFC and stereo speakers for a complete flagship experience.
The Redmi K80 is available in four elegant colors: Obsidian Black, Snow White, Mountain Green and Moonlight Blue. It has a starting price of 2499 yuan (about 326 euros) for the 12GB + 256GB version.

Il Redmi K80 Pro is equipped with a 2-inch flat 6,67K OLED panel produced by TCL M9, which offers exceptional clarity and brightness. The display supports a resolution of 3200×1440, a 120Hz refresh rate (LTPS), 12-bit color depth, and 3200 nits peak brightness. It also integrates Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Care 2.0 technology, offering DC dimming at full brightness to reduce eye fatigue and flickering.
The device features a dual-finish glass unibody design with ultra-thin 1,9mm bezels, making it 21% thinner than its predecessor. It uses the glass Xiaomi Dragon Crystal 2.0, which offers 20 times improved durability.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, built on a 3nm process, delivering a 45% CPU and 44% GPU performance boost over its predecessor, with improved power efficiency.
