Redmi Note 10: the Always on Display lasts 10 seconds, how to solve

The series Redmi Note 10 it is the latest release for the homonymous brand and is already enjoying some success. Accomplice of this is the top-of-the-range photographic sector. We remember in fact that in the variant Pro we find a main photo sensor from ben 108 megapixel. In the model standard, instead, "only" from 64 megapixel. But it's also the camera design that sounds like something new, deviating from the traffic light we know all too well. But today let's talk about Always on Display.

Redmi Note 10's Always on Display (AoD) really lasts poco, only 10 seconds: this is not a bug but an option to disable

Several users on the Mi Community found a "problem”On Redmi Note 10 series devices. We use quotation marks because in reality it is not a real bug, but an option that the brand has decided to activate by default on the devices. In a nutshell theAlways in Display, the feature that allows the screen to remain active even if turned off, it only lasts 10 seconds. After this time, it switches off. There is a way to disable this option.

How to fix

With this simple guide we can disable the option that turns off the AoD of Redmi Note 10 after a few seconds:

  • let's go upstairs Settings and subsequently on Iphone information and we tap on Version MIUI until we are told that developer options are active
  • at this point, always on Settings let's go upstairs Additional settings and subsequently on Developer options
  • here we will have to disable the option MIUI optimization: once done the display with AoD should stay on.

We do not know why the company has prepared this option for the Redmi Note 10 series. These are devices with one ultra-large battery that wouldn't need such battery optimization.
