After weeks of leaks regarding the Redmi Note 10 series, in the last days before the presentation the brand has finally decided to confirm some of the specifications that we will find on the next series of mid-range.
Official: Redmi Note 10 series will be equipped with 120Hz AMOLED display
This time the news comes directly from the CEO of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain, who has finally confirmed that the next Redmi Note 10 series will adopt a Super AMOLED display. Although it remains to be seen whether all three models (base, Pro, and Pro Max) will get this feature or if it's reserved for only the more expensive variants. In any case, as you already know, this will be the first time we see AMOLED panels on Redmi Note series devices.
Furthermore, Xiaomi has just revealed that the display will have a 120Hz refresh rate.
Among the few other features already confirmed by the brand we also have the main camera thanks to a teaser a few days ago. Redmi has in fact anticipated that the Redmi Note 10 will equip a 108MP camera. It will therefore be the first smartphone in the Note series with such a high resolution. Here too, the camera should be equipped on the most premium version of the series.
As for the specs, Redmi had revealed that the smartphone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip "built for gaming", so we expect a "G" at the end of the SoC name. It is suspected that this chip is the Snapdragon 768G 5G, at least on the more expensive variant while the cheaper one should equip a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G.
Finally, other confirmed features include a thinner and lighter and thinner design than other Redmi Note series smartphones, while integrating a large battery with support for fast charging.
Hi-Res Audio certification has already been confirmed for high quality audio, improved haptic feedback, Corning Gorilla Glass on the display for protection from scratches and drops and IP52 certification for protection from water and dust.
