Several months after the first rumors, the next Redmi Note 10 returns to be talked about in China. The smartphone has in fact just been caught in an Asian certification site; let's go find out more!
Redmi Note 10 with MediaTek Dimensity 820 certified in China
As we can see in the image above, a Xiaomi device with model number “M2007J22C” has been approved for network access in China, unless there are surprises this should be the Redmi Note 10.
But what smartphone is it? Well, as we already know, the brand has launched the Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max models in the European and Indian markets. While the Chinese equivalent would have to skip the ninth series and go directly to the 10 series.
Previously, the Redmi Note 10 had appeared on the popular GeekBench benchmarking platform. The device was identified with a MediaTek Dimensity 820 chip.
The MediaTek Dimensity 820 is a mid to high-end processor jointly built by Xiaomi and MediaTek. It is based on a 7nm manufacturing process and consists of four Cortex A76 cores with a frequency of 2.6GHz and four Cortex A55 cores with a frequency of 2.0GHz. We then have a Mali-G57 MC5 as a GPU for the graphics part and native support of the 5G + 5G dual SIM dual standby.
Unfortunately, in addition to the new SoC which should bring excellent performance for the price range, we have no official details. Based on the generations we can still assume that the Redmi Note 10 will arrive in a standard version and a Pro version. We could also find a display with a high refresh rate, even if limited to 90Hz and not 120H which at least for the moment is a feature dedicated to slightly higher-end smartphone. Finally, the NFC chip should not be missing to be able to make electronic payments but not only.
As for prices, Note 10 should have a starting price of around 1000 Yuan, or about € 125 at the current exchange rate.
