Redmi Note 10 Pro China coming with the new MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip
According to the Chinese blogger Male Panda, in fact, within the Note 10 China series there will be at least one model equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.
Specifically we should have a total of three models, namely the standard Note 10 with MediaTek Dimensity 700, the Note 10 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 900 and the Note 10 Pro + with the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 on board.
For the uninitiated, the MediaTek Dimensity 900 is a new mid-to-high-end 5G processor launched yesterday by the Taiwanese chip maker.
According to official data, the Dimensity 900 uses the same TSMC 6nm manufacturing process as the higher-end chips, the Dimensity 1200 and 1100, a step up from other SoCs with 7nm manufacturing and therefore offering greater advantages in terms performance and energy consumption.
The chip is designed with an eight-core architecture, including two 78GHz Cortex-A2,4 cores and six highly efficient 55GHz Cortex-A2,0 cores, plus a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU and a Third generation MediaTek APU with high efficiency AI processor.
In addition, Dimensity 900 supports a new generation of LPDDR5 memory for the first time and is compatible with LPDDR4X. Both are dual-channel, support faster UFS 3.1 memory, and are compatible with UFS 2.2.
In addition to the new chipset, yesterday another Chinese blogger broke the news that Redmi will bring the 67W fast charging technology to a lower price range and, at the same time, the device will also have a large capacity 5000 mAh battery.
