Two new Redmi landed in Italy a few days ago. Waiting for these two smartphones to arrive on Amazon (currently shipping is 20nd June), it seems that on the official website of Xiaomi Italia you can buy them. However, we point out that there are problems on the site and you are unable to navigate, at least since early this morning. Anyhow Redmi Note 10S has been updated just today to MIUI 12.5 and that makes it the first smartphone on Italian soil with ROM Global to have done so.

Redmi Note 10S updates to MIUI 12.5, but it's not really just the one with the ROM Global classical to do so. Even the one with ROM Europe received, together with the other, the same update. To be precise, the build number of Redmi Note 10S Europe is the V12.5.3.0 while the Global one is V12.5.5.0. As mentioned it is the first version for both and brings with it Android 11. Consequently this is the smartphone currently "most updated" on Italian soil.
At the moment, all other smartphones that can install MIUI 12.5 can only do it thanks to the ROM Xiaomi.eu. It is, we recall, a China ROM completely translated and implemented by Google services. Contrary to what one might think it is the Best ROM around as the most complete and the fastest to update. We refer you to official thread to see if your device is already compatible with MIUI 12.5.
In any case, if you had purchased the Redmi Note 10S on the mi.com website, the update with MIUI 12.5 should arrive soon. To update just go toUpdater and search for the update using the appropriate function. We remind you that it could delay: usually the release occurs in stages and is completed in about a week.
