As scheduled, Xiaomi's sub brand, Redmi, today launched the new Redmi Note 11 series in China; this includes the basic version, the Pro version and the Pro + version.

Redmi Note 11, Pro and Pro + official: 120Hz AMOLED screen, 108MP camera and 120W charging

Let's start with the Redmi Note 11 Pro + which comes with the much acclaimed 120W super fast charging. As many know, this is the first time that the Redmi brand has equipped its smartphone with a 120W recharge. In fact, 120W fast charging was until now reserved only for much more premium and expensive flagships.

Going into detail, Redmi reveals that the smartphone uses an advanced high-efficiency charge pump in the industry and integrates multi-pole MTW dual-link batteries to effectively reduce charging impedance and temperature rise. In fact, the smartphone has also passed the TÜV Rheinland professional safety fast charging certification. This includes fast charge protection, built-in safety identification chip, short circuit protection, over voltage protection, overheat protection, etc.

To ensure a 120W fast charging experience, the Redmi Note 11 Pro + is also equipped with a VC liquid cooling system inside the fuselage. The three-dimensional heat dissipation system is composed of multilayer graphite, thermal gel, copper foil, etc., covering SoC and charging chip. The whole quickly removes heat through the gas-liquid phase change and can lower the temperature by 3 ° C during fast charging.

In addition, the smartphone also supports two charging modes. When super fast speed is not required, the temperature will always be controlled within 38 ° C to avoid overheating between charging and gaming, while at maximum power it can recharge the smartphone in just 15 minutes.

We also point out that the Redmi Note 11 Pro + will come packaged with a 120W charger, so no additional purchase is required.

As for the rest, the Redmi Note 11 series adopts a new trendy design with flat edges and sharp lines, a design similar to that of the iPhone 13. While for the colors we have the Redmi Note 11 in Light Dream Galaxy, Mysterious Black Realm and Mint Mint; the Note 11 Pro is Mysterious Black Mirror, Misty Forest, Time Quiet Purple and Light Dream Galaxy; and the Note 11 Pro + in Black Land (AG), Misty Forest (AG) and Time Quiet Purple (AG).

Moving on to the screen, the Redmi Note 11 adopts a 6,6-inch LCD display that supports a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Redmi Note 11 Pro series is equipped with a 6,67-inch Samsung AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the Redmi Note 11 integrates the Dimensity 810 chip, while the Redmi Note Pro and Pro + carry the Dimensity 920 chip for the first time. The processor uses the same TSMC 6nm process as the chip maker's flagship SoC and features dual core A78, for an excellent balance between performance and power consumption.

As for photography, the Note 11 series has a 16 megapixel selfie camera on the front and the Redmi Note 11 has a 50 megapixel main camera and an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle camera on the back.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro + mark the return of the 108MP ultra-clear camera, along with an 8MP super wide-angle and 2MP macro. Going into detail, the main camera supports single 2.1 μm pixels thanks to 9 in 1 technology and also adopts dual ISO technology, so you can shoot night scenes with less noise.

In terms of battery, the Note 11 has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging, while the Note 11 Pro features a 5160mAh battery which supports 67W fast charging and can be fully charged. in 43 minutes. Finally, the Note 11 Pro + comes with a 4500mAh battery and can be charged at 120W, as mentioned earlier.

The Note11 PRO could retire my Mi9T, no rush.
Excellent cpu, good screen, (although I would have preferred a bigger screen)

Bigger screen? For what? To be the one with the biggest frying pan?
