Lu Weibing revealed that this is called the holographic suspension process. In fact, the Redmi logo you see is not printed, but is formed by light and therefore floats in the air.
To put it simply: there are two layers of film in the glass, the top layer with micro graphics and the bottom layer with a micro lens. The light first passes through the micrographic layer, reaches the microlens, after refraction, magnifies 150 times and then forms the Redmi logo.
The brand claims that this requires more than 110.000 micro-graphics and micro-lenses to form together and a one-to-one match, and all of this requires an accuracy of around 6um.
So this is truly a world first that Redmi has managed to create thanks to its team of designers and engineers.
Finally, we note that the new Redmi Note 11 Trend Limited Edition will officially go on sale in China at 10 am on November 11th, with the only 8GB + 256GB version that has a price of 2699 yuan (370 €).
