According to the latest rumors from Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch a new mid-range smartphone in the global market, the Redmi Note 12 4Gby the end of March. Well, today the well-known leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore has released a render of the upcoming device.
Redmi Note 12 4G leaks online: design and specifications revealed
As we can see in the leaked render online, the Redmi Note 12 4G is similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G phones that were launched in India earlier this year.
The render shows us that the Note 12 4G uses a straight edged bezel design and there is a slight curve between the bezel and the back panel, which helps provide a comfortable grip. The phone has a SIM slot on the left side, while the right side houses the power and volume buttons.
We then have the USB Type-C port, the main speaker grille and the microphone located at the bottom. The top has an infrared emitter and a 3,5mm headphone jack. At the front, the Note 12 4G has a thick chin and rather thin side and top bezels.
Finally, we find a rectangular rear camera module with three lenses and LED flash. We also know that the Note 12 4G will be available in three colors: gray, blue and green.
As for the specifications, the Redmi Note 12 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 685 chip, which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 SoC with a peak frequency of 2,8 GHz. The smartphone uses 4 GB of RAM memory and runs with the MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13.
The Redmi Note 12 4G will come with a 6,67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution that could support 120Hz refresh rate and a 13MP front camera. On the back we will have a 50MP main rear camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera and 2MP depth/macro sensor.
Finally, there will be a 5000mAh battery that will support 33W fast charging.
