Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition with Snapdragon 778G chip officially presented
Compared to the current Redmi Note 12 Pro, this new Speed Edition replaces the MediaTek Dimension 1080 processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. This chipset has TSMC 6nm manufacturing process, A76 Plus and A55 dual-core CPU, Adreno 620 GPU. In comparison, the overall performance has been improved by almost 20%.
Also as regards the photographic sector, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition sees an upgrade. The main camera has in fact been replaced by the 766 megapixel Sony IMX50 sensor with a 100 megapixel sensor, with dimensions of 1/1,52 inches, 2,1 micron large pixel fusion technology and supports Xiaomi's Image Brain algorithms and the cinematic effects.
As for the other specs, the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition comes with a 6,67-inch OLED type flat screen, 5000mAh battery, 67W high-end fast charging, linear axis motor X, NFC multifunction, dual three-dimensional speakers, infrared ray emitter and 3,5mm headphone jack.
Finally, from a design point of view, the new Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has been launched in a total of three colors: namely Time Blue, Shimmer Green and Midnight Black. The body is light with a matte finish, the general dimensions of the device remain unchanged, with a thickness of only 7,9mm and a weight of about 181 grams.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition will be sold in China at a starting price of 1699 yuan (230 euros) for the 6GB + 128GB version, 199 yuan for the 8GB + 256GB model and 2199 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
