In October this year, Redmi released the Note 12 series in China. This included the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, the world's first smartphone with the Samsung ISOCELL HPX optical sensor that brings an incredible 200MP resolution. The news comes from the Xiaomi India account with the tweet that we can see just above. This confirms that the Global version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be officially launched on January 5, 2023 in India. While in Italy it could arrive soon after.
Recall that the Redmi Note 12 Pro + is equipped with a 6,67-inch OLED flat screen with a resolution of 2400 * 1080, high refresh rate of 120 Hz, touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, high PWM dimming frequency of 1920 Hz and a maximum brightness of 900 nits.
In terms of performance, the smartphone comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, which adopts TSMC's 6 nm production process and octa-core architecture, with 2 Arm Cortex-A78 cores and 6 Arm Cortex-A55 cores.
As mentioned earlier, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is the first with the Samsung ISOCELL HPX sensor of 200 megapixels, a size of 1/1,4 inch and OIS optical image stabilization. This is then accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
For charging, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ supports 120W fast charging and can be fully charged in 19 minutes. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh.
Other specs include dual stereo speakers, X-axis linear motor, NFC, infrared, 3,5mm headphone jack, dual card dual standby support, and Wi-Fi 6.
