The series Notes redmi 14 Pro di Xiaomi just launched in China is also highly anticipated globally, but apparently there will be some significant differences compared to the Chinese version that could influence users' purchasing decisions.

Global Redmi Note 14 Pro series to have different specifications from Chinese one

One of the most significant changes concerns the photographic sector. The Global version of Note 14 Pro+ will feature a 200MP main camera with Samsung S5KHP3 sensor, flanked by a 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP OV02B10 macro camera. This represents a change from the Chinese version, which instead uses a 50MP Sony OVX8000 main sensor and a 50MP telephoto camera.

even the Redmi Note 14 Pro Global will undergo a similar update. The The main camera will always be 200MP with a Samsung S5KHP3 sensor, accompanied by a 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and 2MP macro camera. In the Chinese version, however, the main camera was a 50MP IMX882 sensor.

In addition to the changes in the camera department, there are other differences in the technical specifications between the global and Chinese versions. The Note 14 Pro+ global will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor of Qualcomm, while the Chinese version uses a different processor. The display remains unchanged with a 6.67-inch curved OLED panel, 1.5K resolution and 120H refresh ratez, supporting HDR.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Global

As for water resistance, both Global versions of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ boast IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, providing advanced protection against dust and water immersion.

Another significant difference is that the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will retain the 50MP telephoto camera, while the global version does not.

These changes in specifications and camera could impact user preferences globally. Xiaomi’s decision to differentiate the global and Chinese versions of the Redmi Note 14 Pro could be driven by different marketing strategies and specific consumer needs in different regions.
