Redmi Note 14 Pro Series Officially Previewed: The Design
Both phones share a similar design, featuring a Squircle-shaped camera module and a curved body. However, one of the visible differences concerns the cameras: one model has the lenses embedded in a glass panel, while the other features more pronounced camera rings.
The new Note series is expected to include three models: Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The Redmi Note 14 will be the most affordable model in the lineup. According to initial rumors, it will feature an AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, an improvement over the FHD display of its predecessor. As for the photographic department, it is rumored that the base model of the Note 14 series will be equipped with a 50MP triple camera. The heart of this device should be the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset.
As you level up, the Pro and Pro+ variants are loudly equipped with a Curved OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models are also expected to sport a 50MP triple camera on the back. The Pro model could be powered by the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, while the Pro+ could use Dimensity 7350 SoC. Furthermore, there is talk of a possible support for the quick charge from 90W for one of the Pro models.
However, judging from the teasers, Redmi seems to have placed a strong emphasis on durability and user trust as key selling points for the new range. The announcement highlighted aspects such as drop resistance, waterproofing, and a service guarantee, elements that aim to offer greater peace of mind to users. Pre-orders for the series are already open on the company's official website in China, allowing potential buyers to secure a front-row seat.
