Redmi has quietly launched the new Redmi Notes 14S, which has been officially uploaded to the company's Czech branch website in some countries. While it might look like a completely new model at first glance, the device is actually a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, which was originally released in January last year. This quiet launch confirms all the specifications and details about the device.
Redmi Note 14S launched in Europe: there is IP64 protection

The device sports a 6,67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, ensuring a smooth and clear visual experience, ideal for gaming and streaming multimedia content. Under the body we find the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra chipset, a processor designed to offer good performance in multitasking and daily management. However, being a 4G-only chipset, it lacks support for 5G connectivity, a feature that could turn up the nose of those looking for a more future-oriented smartphone.
The Redmi Note 14S comes in a unique configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, offering ample space for apps, photos, videos and more. There is also the option to expand the memory via microSD card, providing greater flexibility to users.

The photographic sector includes a main camera from 200MP, a surprising choice for a device in this price range. Rounding out the set are a 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor, which however is of little use in practice. For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with a 16MP front camera, housed in a discreet notch.
To ensure the autonomy of the Redmi Note 14S there is a 5.000mAh battery, with support for the quick charge to 67W. As for security, the device integrates a optical fingerprint sensor under the display, offering a modern and practical solution.

One noteworthy improvement is the increase in dust and water protection, which goes from IP54 to IP64, making the smartphone more resistant to harsh environmental conditions.
The Redmi Note 14S is available in three color options: blue, black and purple. In Czechia, the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is sold for 5.999 CZK (about 240 euros). At the moment, there are no details on availability in Italy.
