Let's talk about Redmi Note 5, a device released at the beginning of 2018 and which is therefore 3 years old today. The company has been speaking: three major releases for this device, which was born with MIUI 10 and dies (so to speak) with MIUI 12. Today began the rollout for the Global Stable version. However, it should be noted that it is one beta. What does it mean?

We said it is the MIUI 12 Global Beta Stable. But what do these terms mean? Put simply, this is the first release intended for users who are part of the beta program. This means today IT BEGINS the rollout but not everyone will receive it on their device. It will serve a few days of running in and experimentation before all users can install it via OTA update.
It is now known that the MIUI 12 updates, just released, are not stable at all. Think of the Notes 8 or even the old flagship Xiaomi Mi 9T who have had serious problems receiving the update. So much so that the first of these smartphones yet has problems and several users cannot take advantage of the features in question. Anyhow STARTING TODAY the release has started, so in the next few days all users will find the update in the updater: just go to Settings and search for it using the appropriate function.
