Despite the strong international interest in the last "flagship" of Casa Redmi, or the Note 7 Pro, it would seem that the Xiaomi sub-brand is not willing to release a Global version.
The tip comes directly from John Chen, Xiaomi's director of Southeast Asia, who in a post on Facebook reported the news to the whole world.
Redmi Note 7 Pro: A Global version will not be presented
The post is also quite clear and leaves no room for misunderstanding, it says that:
In spite of myself, I must unfortunately inform you that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro will NOT be available in an international version outside of China and India due to a market strategy
John Chen
He went on to say that the Redmi Note 7 is still a great option, with high-end hardware, a 48MP camera and a low price.

Redmire Xiaomi Note Pro 7
Having said that, we must admit to being a little disappointed. They never made us understand that it would be launched in a global version but almost everyone expected it. On the other hand, if we consider the price that Redmi Note 7 Pro could have had in Italy and in the rest of the world (from 250 € upwards), Xiaomi has perhaps thought that many would have preferred the cheaper Redmi Note 7, which ultimately has the same design and very similar hardware.
In addition to this, we could also assume that the future release of a Global version of the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE could have created an internal conflict in the medium-high range. In fact, a few days ago we discovered that the Mi 9 SE has been certified and would be ready to be announced internationally.
In any case, now that we have the formalization of the lack of a Redmi Note 7 Pro Global variant, some of us can put aside the idea of a possible purchase. While others will always have the option of being able to buy directly from China (even if without 20 band) just like in the old days.
Now tell us yours. What do you think of this decision of Xiaomi? Have you been disappointed? Let us know in the comments section below!
I've lived up to now without 20 band by passing mi5 to mi6
Well, I took the "normal" Redmi Note 7 and it's already a bomb like that
Я очень разочарован! Именно такой вариант для меня был идеален!
BUT THE INDIAN VERSION has the global installed? and the 20 band?
The Indian version seems to have the global but no 20 band.
thanks Pierpaolo… what a pity… they get lost in a glass of water
Позор Xiaomi Позор!
I don't understand why ...
Too bad indeed
that if they keep it also without 20 band
Anyway, even if it has band 20, it doesn't go into 4g plus, see my Pocophone...
Who understands them, these
excellent market strategy! we say that it will surely attract a lot of lazy ones
... they are really Chinese ... 2 steps forward and three to the side above a pel field of fertilizer
