Redmi Note 8 Pro in 8GB + 256GB version presented in China

While we were here to quibble on the possible launch of a version of Redmi Note 8 Pro with Qualcomm processor instead of MediaTek, Xiaomi or, to be precise, the Redmi sub-brand, was instead at work to bring an even more powerful version of Redmi Note 8 Pro.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has just launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of full memory. Yes you read that right, practically of the flagship hardware on a medium-high range. Before this new variant, the smartphone was available with a maximum of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, so more than enough for most users, especially considering that there is a slot for microSD cards.

All other features remain the same, so we have the MediaTek Helio G90T processor, a 6,53 inch diagonal screen with Full HD + resolution and TÜV Rheinland certification for a screen-shell ratio of the 91,4%. The huge display is then covered with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 anti-shock and anti-scratch, as well as the back.

As for the photographic sector, the Note 8 Pro is in fact equipped with the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 from 64MP. The other cameras instead include a secondary one from 8MP with ultra wide-angle lens, a depth sensor from 2MP and a camera from 2MP to take macro pictures. While for selfies we have an 20MP sensor supported by different artificial intelligence embellishment modes.

Finally, among other specifications we find a large 4500mAh battery for at least two days of autonomy, which can be recharged up to 18W through the USB-C type port. We have the presence of the NFC module to be able to pay electronically or otherwise (at least in China), there is the 3.5mm audio jack and the infrared emitter to control different "non smart" devices.
