In the past few hours we have discovered that the next Redmi Note 8 Pro will be a real gaming phone, both for the MediaTek SoC specifically optimized to run video games smoothly, and for various other devices such as the system of liquid cooling and the dedicated gamepad in style Xiaomi Black Shark.
Well, to confirm the thesis that it is a smartphone with exceptional performance, comes a new image published online that depicts the final score of an AnTuTu benchmark of the device in question.
Redmi Note 8 Pro: AnTuTu score at Snapdragon 845 levels
In the screenshot attached above, we can see the final AnTuTu score (8 version) obtained from Redmi Note 8 Pro: 281033 points. Going into the specifics we find that in the CPU tests he has obtained 95762, while for the graphical side we have 79755 points, continuing with the 59406 points in the memory test and 46110 points in UX, or the fluency test of the operating system.
The final score of over 280 thousand points obtained from the Redmi Note 8 Pro does not differ much from those we saw on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, or the flagship processor of the past year and equipped on all flagships of the time. So the results are truly exceptional for a smartphone that should be part of the mid-range category with less surprises.
We also note that the score obtained thanks to the MediaTek Helio G90T chip is also higher than the modern Qualcomm 700 series CPUs. This means that the Note 8 Pro will override many other devices of higher bandwidth (price) equipped than those CPUs, such as Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi CC9, Redmi K20 etc ..
The new MediaTek Helio G90T CPU will make its debut with the Redmi Note 8 Pro, as promised by Lu Weibing, general manager of Redmi and vice president of Xiaomi Group, some time ago. The chip uses the modern ARM Cortex-A76 architecture, which is the best currently on the market. According to the ARM manufacturer, the Cortex-A76 architecture could almost be considered equal to those found in laptops, at least as far as performance is concerned.
In addition to the modern processor, the Note 8 Pro will also be equipped with 18W fast charge, the NFC module, infrared port and a main camera from 64MP (Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor). The smartphone will also be available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM for the Pro version, while the basic variant will have to settle for a maximum of 6GB of RAM.
Now all that's left to do is find out the price, but luckily there won't be much time left as the presentation has already been scheduled for August 29th.
