Just yesterday we discovered thanks to one official certification on the FCC (the federal communications commission) website that the next Redmi Note 9 Pro will be able to count on a large battery and fast charging. Well, today there are new rumors regarding the basic version, namely the Redmi Note 9; let's find out more!
Redmi Note 9 caught on GeekBench, will it have a MediaTek CPU?
As we can see in the image above, a device with the model name "Xiaomi merlin" was caught on the famous GeekBench benchmark platform. The smartphone seems to adopt a processor with the model name MT6769V which allows it to reach 341 points in single core mode and 1263 in multi core mode.
But what CPU are we talking about? Well by searching quickly online we find that that processor model almost certainly corresponds to the MediaTek Helio P90. So a mid-range processor of the Chinese chip maker that should bring excellent performances on a medium-low range like the Note 9 of Redmi.
The adoption of a MediaTek CPU instead of Qualcomm could also lower prices even more, so we expect a starting price of 899 Yuan, or about 120 euros at the current exchange rate.
As for the other specifications on board the Redmi Note 9. The smartphone should arrive with a large and LCD-type display, we are talking about 6,3 inches diagonal and with Full HD resolution. On the back we will then have at least three rear cameras with a maximum resolution of 48MP, one with a telephoto lens and an ultra wide angle, while just below we should find a fingerprint sensor.
Moving on to the internal hardware, the MediaTek processor will be coupled to at least 4GB of LPDDR4x type RAM, internal eMMC type memory, a large battery of at least 4000mAh and a fast charge with a minimum power of 18W.
