As we have already known for several weeks, Xiaomi's sub brand, Redmi, is ready to launch the new Note series in China, which should include at least three devices: the Redmi Note 9 4G, Note 9 and Note 9 Pro. The latter it will be the most interesting of all with high-level specifications such as the high refresh rate screen and much more.
Redmi Note 9 Pro China coming with 108MP rear camera
But let's go to today's news from China, specifically from Redmi's product manager, Wang Teng. Indeed, he has just shared a post on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) in which he states that "Our next smartphone has a high-resolution camera so detailed that my friends ask me to borrow it to take pictures".
So without too many words, Wang Teng seems to suggest that the next Redmi Note 9, at least in its most premium version, will be equipped with a high-resolution camera. Given today's standards, this resolution should go up to 100MP, making it a truly exceptional device for its price range.
In any case, the 100MP camera (to be precise 108MP) should use Samsung's ISOCELL Bright HM2 sensor, with a size of 1 / 1,52 inches, for 2,1 μm large pixels and support for 3x zoom. without loss of detail.
As for the other specifications, as mentioned previously, the smartphone is given on arrival with the typical 6,67-inch display that we have seen in many Xiaomi devices in this 2020. The refresh rate will be 120Hz, with touch sampling at 240Hz and Adaptive Sync technology to automatically change the refresh rate from 30Hz to 120Gz, while the resolution will settle at Full HD +.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro, or the most performing version will then be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G as a processor and with support for 33W fast charging. While the standard version will see a MediaTek Dimensity 800U, so as to lower the price while bringing excellent performance, 5G connectivity and support for 22.5W wired fast charging.
