The Redmi brand seems to have decided to confuse the waters in recent weeks with a multitude of presentations of different Note series devices depending on the release market. In fact, we have the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max which saw the sunlight in India, followed by the global version of the first, or Redmi Note 9S. Tomorrow we could see both i Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro for China (with support for the 5G network), than a new version of the Redmi Note 9 (without "S" or "Pro"); just the latter we will talk about in this article.
Redmi Note 9: New high definition renderings, a mix between Note 8 Pro and Note 9S?
So let's start with the aesthetic part, which we can admire in the images just leaked online. The Redmi Note 9 seems to bring a combination of the Redmi Note 9 Pro's design, with the cameras in the center and the fingerprint sensor aligned below, and the Redmi Note 9S with the four sensors inside a square-shaped module. Also on the back we also have a back cover in "premium" plastic and not Corning Gorilla Glass, as in the last devices of the Note series.
The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass is instead present in front, where we also find a hole in the top left with the 13MP camera for selfies inside, this time in Xiaomi Mi 10 style.
As for the specifications, the same leakster has revealed that the smartphone will adopt a 6,53-inch diagonal display, of the IPS LCD type and with Full HD + resolution (2340 x 1080).
The Redmi Note 9 will then be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 (although some rumors gave it with a Helio G80), coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal memory.
From the photography point of view, the device will equip a total of four cameras on the back. These will include a 48MP main sensor (the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1) with a focal aperture of f / 1,9, supported by an 8MP ultra wide angle lens (f / 2,2 aperture), a 2MP macro lens and finally a 2MP depth sensor for taking photos with the bokeh effect.
In addition, according to the leakster, the Note 9 will be equipped with a large 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging at 18W through the USB Type-C port. Other specifications should include a 3,5mm audio jack, an infrared emitter, NFC module and microSD slot.
As mentioned previously, we don't know for sure if the smartphone will be presented tomorrow or in the days to follow, but today's leak should still suggest an imminent launch.
