At the presentation of the new Redmi Note 9S, previously known in India with the name of Note 9 Pro, the Xiaomi sub-brand had anticipated the launch of another version of the device decidedly more tantalizing for the true fans of the Chinese brand. We refer to the Redmi Note 9S in version MFF 2020 Edition, or Mi Fan Festival Edition, which today was made official at the MFF 2020 event in which we also saw the launch of the new Redmi band and RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition 16GB.

Returning to the Redmi Note 9S MFF 2020 Edition, the smartphone is nothing more than a simple Note 9S with a personalized back cover. In fact, we find the silhouette of the Xiaomi bunny with the words "2020 MFF" inside. Furthermore, as we can always see in the image above, this device will be available in limited quantities, we are talking about only 2020 units worldwide.
As for the specifications, these are identical to those of the Redmi Note 9S presented on March 31st. We therefore have a 6,67-inch diagonal display, an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and with Full HD resolution (2.340 × 1.080 pixels).
Moving on the back, we find a total of 4 cameras. These include a 48MP main camera, in particular we have the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM2 sensor with a focal aperture of f 1.79, 1.6 µm large pixels and dual pixel autofocus technology. The 48MP camera will then be paired with an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra wide angle lens (119 degree field of view), a 5MP sensor for macro photos from 2 to 10 centimeters away, and a 2MP sensor to capture the Shallow depth of field and create photos with bokeh effect. As for the front camera, here we find a 16MP sensor.
The smartphone is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, a mid-range high-performance processor, accompanied by a minimum of 4GB and a maximum of 6GB of LPDDR4X type RAM, while the internal memory that reaches up to 128GB is UFS type 2.1. We then have a huge 5020mAh battery for more than two days of trouble-free autonomy. Once downloaded, you can also recharge it very quickly thanks to the fast fast charge with maximum power of 18W.
Among the other features we find a fingerprint sensor on the right side, new speakers that produce audio with an increase in volume of about 30% and bass improved by 80%. We also have a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port for charging and data transmission, and an infrared ray emitter.
