After discovering that the Chinese Redmi Note 9 series it could be called Note 10 in its global version, the famous Indian leakster now seems to have adjusted the game. In his latest tweet he in fact stated that the name of the device would instead be “Redmi Note 9T”, at least in India.
Dietrofront: the Redmi Note 9 5G will be called Note 9T instead of Note 10
So the Xiaomi M2007J22GFCC, which is being speculated to be the Redmi Note 10 global variant, turns out to be the Redmi Note 9T. Was able to fetch the IMEI number from the FCC database and hence, the moniker.#Redmi #RedmiNote9T pic.twitter.com/xlqG8T3lXd

Let's say “at least in India” as this new series of Redmi-branded smartphones is undoubtedly the most intricate ever. Starting from the launch of the Note 9 global series in March, which to date does not yet have a counterpart in the Chinese market, which should arrive next week according to latest rumors. That said, the Note 9 China series will be completely different from the global one in practically any of its facets, with much more performing and quality hardware.
Well, yesterday we discovered that the Redmi Note 9 5G China should have been called Note 10 in its global variant, while today it seems that it will be called Redmi Note 9T.
So the interminable Redmi Note 9 series, which already sees the Note 9, Note 9S, Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max (India), could see another new member join this extra large family: the Note 9T .
From the point of view of specifications, the smartphone would equip all the hardware that according to several leaks belongs to the Redmi Note 9 5G China (not yet official). We are therefore talking about a 6,53-inch screen with a hole for the front camera, MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, a 48MP main camera and a battery capacity of 5000 mAh.
The Pro version of the Chinese Note 9 of which we do not know the global name (if it is released) will instead adopt a 6.67 inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP rear camera, with Samsung ISOCELL Bright HM2 sensor and most of the specifications that we find on board the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite.
